Arthur Davenport
Automotive Instructor
Perry Career Academy
I am the Automotive Instructor at the Perry Career Academy. My office/classroom is in Room 434. I began my Automotive Instructor career with Clayton County Public Schools in August of 1999. I have over 40+ years in the Automotive Industry.
Prior to becoming an educator, I worked for a full service gas station followed by owning my own business. After I closed my business of fourteen years I went to work for a Ford Dealership. I started as a light line technician and was promoted to shop foreman in less than 5 years.
I attended Griffin Technical School (now Southern Crescent Technical College) with higher learning at Georgia State University. I am excited about the opportunities available to our students here at the Perry Career Academy.
