Hello My Name Is...

<It's the 2020 -2021 school and you are in my Math Class! Math is needed and can be fun! Let me give you a little information about myself. My name is Ms. McCraw and I am one of the two math teachers at the AVA. This is my 5th year teaching math at the middle school and I've enjoyed every moment of it. I am a mom and a grandma, I'm also a veteran. I received my undergraduate degree from Georgia State University and my Masters from Thomas University in Middle Grade Mathematics.
I try to make math fun as well as using it as a connection to real world situations. The one thing that I always hear from my students is that I will never use this when I leave school.
We will be working via Edgenuity. This program provides math lessons by using video lessons provided by qualified math educators as well as examples and practice work. Hopefully we will be returning to our regular classrooms soon, but until then we will succeed in Edgenuity.
Along with Edgenutiy we will also come together in Google Meet once a week for reinforcements.
