Students Schedule

The Perry Career Academy (PCA) is a blended learning school.
Students schedule per week will vary dependent on the student's schedule and the courses taught per day.
Students may have any of the following schedules:
Monday/Wednesday
Tuesday/Thursday
Monday-Thursday
Friday is a learning lab day. Students can report to campus to work on their virtual courses, to meet with their teachers (if scheduled), complete make up assignments (if scheduled), or to get content specific assistance.

Attendance Policy*

PCA uses a modified performance based attendance policy.
A student is considered present if they are actively working in each of their courses.
Actively working in a course is defined by the following:
- Present two times a week per class and maintaining a grade of 70 or above (in IC).
- Present two times a week per class, and weekly online activity of at least 8 hours per week if course average is below 70 (in IC).
Attendance will be recorded weekly.
The attendance secretary will input attendance on Mondays and Tuesdays for the previous week.
CCPS and state attendance protocols will be used for attendance concerns. Extreme attendance concerns could result in withdrawal.
