Greetings and Welcome! Allow me to introduce myself, as proud academic facilitator Dr. Cassandra Ashley. My goal is to ensure students successfully complete their academic career throughout high school. This is my first year with the Perry Career Academy and I am looking forward to this new experience. I have held various positions throughout my 24 years in education and education is truly my passion!
I started my career as a substitute teacher in Clayton County Public Schools, worked in Atlanta Public Schools, Department of Defense, and ventured my way back to Clayton County Public Schools in various capacities. Schools that have provided me an opportunity to develop my craft include Florida A&M University, Troy State University, Central Michigan University, and Sarasota University where I’ve obtained various degrees in education. I have worked at the elementary, middle, and now high school levels. As you can tell, I’m a lifelong learner and will continue to enhance my educational empowerment.
