Hello My Name Is...
Victoria Cooley

Hello, my name is Mrs. Cooley. This is my second year teaching at the PCA and my fourth year teaching World Literature. Before coming to the PCA, I taught English for two years at M.E. Stilwell School of the Arts. I got my bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University of Michigan and my master’s degree in journalism from the City University of New York (CUNY). Before teaching, I worked as a social media manager for a news company in New York City. I have also freelanced as a journalist for media outlets including the New York Daily News, Youth Today, The Juvenile Justice Information Exchange and more.
Apart from my professional life, I am married to Ryan Cooley, a math teacher at the AVA. We have two boys (one who is almost three and another who is 9 months old). I love traveling and I have a passion for reading and writing. I am excited to continue my teaching career at Perry. Feel free to contact me at [email protected]ga.us.
